Once upon a time, a follower of Mahatma Gandhi (Father of the Nation - India) was accused of a crime. He approached Gandhiji, an eminent lawyer of those times for help.
Gandhiji probed the prospective client - "Are you sure that you are innocent?"
Follower - "True to my consciousness, I did not make any crime."
Gandhiji agreed to take up the case and promised " Ok. I will try to save you by getting you exonerated".
He valiantly fought the case and kept his word.
Few months later, another ardent set of followers were discussing the merits of the case and finesse of Gandhiji's advocacy.
One starter expressed a doubt - "Who will be the saviour of the innocent, after the life time of Gandhi??"
One street smart leader among the group quipped - "The Portrait of Mahatma Gandhiji (printed on every currency note) will be the saviour for ever."
